Control Kodi seamlessly from your wrist with Sofa, enhancing your viewing experience by bringing your favorite movies and shows to the big screen with exceptional ease. A few simple taps on your Apple Watch suffice to get started.
For optimal performance, ensure the following settings are activated in your Kodi configuration:
- Zeroconf must be enabled.
- Allow control of Kodi via HTTP must be activated.
The Sofa app supports a range of remote features for Kodi:
- Start playback of movies and TV shows.
- View a list of watched movies or episodes.
- Control playback: play, pause, stop, and seek.
- Change audio stream and subtitle languages.
- Update and clean your Kodi library (via force touch and remote view).
- Manage multiple Kodi installations concurrently (using force touch).
- Utilize Kodi with password protection.
- Access arrow keys and buttons for manual operation (remote use).
To enable remote control functionality for Kodi, navigate to Settings -> Services -> Webserver -> Allow control of Kodi via HTTP.
Please note that enabling Zeroconf is typically set by default.
